Description:

The hot sun over Agrabah burns bright in Pernille Ørum's imaginative tribute to Disney's 1992 animated classic Aladdin. Princess Jasmine contemplates her life and the confines of her royal status, before setting free a flock of caged birds that joyfully burst off into the desert sky.

This 9-color screen-print dazzles the eye with a pearlescent shimmer, thanks to the gorgeous Stardream Coral paper stock, bringing to life this powerful moment from one of Disney's most enduring fairytales!

Pernille Ørum is a Danish illustrator and character designer living as a freelancer in Nairobi, Kenya. She graduated from The Animation Workshop in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Character Animation and went on to work in both Ireland and UK as an animator before deciding to move back to Denmark and focus on character design. Aladdin is Pernille's third print release with Cyclops Print Works, having previously designed artwork inspired by The Little Mermaid and Tangled.
